Wamsley Electrical / Services
Water
Commercial fleets, the Lake Erie fishing tugs, and private vessels. This is the division that makes Wamsley unusual.
Why an electrician in Port Dover wires boats
Mike Wamsley spent years on marine industrial projects before he started the company in 2001, some of it a long way from Lake Erie. The marine division exists because that experience did, and Port Dover is a working harbour.
A tug that cannot start is a day's catch nobody lands, so the work is judged on whether the vessel goes out, not on how it looks in the slip.

Megger reporting
Insulation resistance testing, documented. It is how you prove the state of a vessel's wiring rather than form an opinion about it, and it is what an insurer or an inspection tends to ask for.
Shore power
The connection between the dock and the boat is a common source of trouble and an uncommon source of attention. Installation and repairs both.
Vessel needs rewiring, a shore power fault chasing, or a Megger report? Call 519‑428‑8957.
