Wamsley Electrical / Services

Houses

Most of what this company does is somebody's home. New builds, gut renovations, and the service call when a circuit has stopped behaving.

What the work usually is

A kitchen that needs six more circuits than the panel has room for. A rewire in a house whose last electrician left in 1974. A custom build where the lighting layout is decided before the drywall goes on, which is the only time it is cheap to decide.

Wamsley has been doing residential work since 2001, from a single bathroom through to houses that take a year. The crew is seven certified electricians, and the same people do the small jobs and the large ones.

Panel upgrades

An older service becomes the ceiling on everything else: the range, the hot tub, the car charger, the addition. Upgrading it is usually the unglamorous first step that makes the rest of the list possible.

Landscape and exterior

Exterior lighting is the part people see from the road, and it is the part most often wired as an afterthought. Done properly it runs on a timeclock or a control system, not a switch somebody has to remember.

A timber frame great room with an exposed truss roof and a large circular chandelier over a staircase.
A timber frame great room. Getting a circuit to the apex of that truss is the job.
A high end interior under construction, with a coffered ceiling full of recessed lights above a staircase and bare framing still visible.
Lighting laid out before the drywall. This is the only cheap moment to change your mind.
A stone and timber house at blue hour with warm light glowing from the windows and under the eaves, snow on the ground.
Blue hour, mid winter. Exterior lighting doing the work.
A swim spa being installed in a concrete deck, with conduit and rough-in visible at the edge.
Pool and spa rough-in. Bonding and GFCI protection are not optional here.
